ZC-6161C is a pentaerythritol unsaturated polyester resin with medium viscosity, high reactivity,good heat resistance, impact resistance, and excellent electrical properties, suitable for SMC/BMC products.
ZC-6161C resin is specially designed for SMC/BMC production processes. It is widely used inautomotive, sports equipment, electrical, and construction industries. ZC-6161C has stablethickening performance, and when combined with low-shrinkage, low-profile additives such as ZC-4183C and ZC-2983C, it can be formulated into standard low-shrinkage SMC/BMC.

ZC-6161C is typically used in conjunction with ZC-4183C for the production of low-shrinkage moldedplastics. Normally, the ratio of ZC-6161C to ZC-4183C is 70:30,although adjustments can be madeaccording to specific requirements. Depending on the final product’s dimensional demands, 300ppm to 600ppm of p-benzoquinone can be added to the formulation(calculated based on the total amount ofresin and low-shrinkage additive).
