ZC-5694AT resin is an additive flame retardant unsaturated polyester resin with a high-efficiency composite flame retardant. It is halogen-free, dissolved in styrene cross-linking monomer, and has medium viscosity and medium reactivity.

Benefits and Application

ZC-5694AT resin has low smoke, low toxicity, high flame retardancy, and strong self-extinguishing property, which meets the requirements of railway industry standard TB/T3138-2006 and German standard DIN5510-2. At the same time, it has good operating performance and mechanical properties. It is widely used in various FRP products with flame retardant performance requirements, and is especially recommended for high flame retardant, low smoke and low toxicity parts, such as interior parts of passenger cars, trains, subways, light rail trains and other transportation vehicles, as well as in the construction field.

Application Guidelines

1. ZC-5694AT resin contains wax but no accelerator.
2. Recommended curing system: pure cobalt accelerator 0.4-2.0%; MEKP curing agent 1.0-2.5%.
3. During the storage of added flame retardant resin, filler sedimentation will occur, which is a normal phenomenon. It should be fully stirred before use.
