ZC-2983 is a zero-shrinkage additive for Class A surface SMC/BMC.
ZC-2983 dedicated to SMC/BMC manufacturing processes. When used in conjunction with ZC-5061, ZC-2061, etc., compression molded SMC/BMC products have very low shrinkage and good gloss. When ZC-2983 is used with ZC-5061, it can achieve a Class A surface. ZC-2983 has excellent thickening properties.

ZC-2983 is typically used in conjunction with ZC-5061 for the production of low shrinkage molding compounds. Generally, the ratio of ZC-5061 to ZC-2983 is 65:35, but this can be adjusted as needed. Molding conditions are 140-160℃ and 50-100kg/cm². Depending on the size requirements of the final product, 300ppm-600ppm of hydroquinone (calculated based on the total amount of resin and low shrinkage additive) can be added to the formula.
